Daniel Radcliffe lahir pada 23 Juli 1989 di London Barat, Inggris, Dia merupakan anak satu-satunya dari Alan George Radcliffe, seorang agen literatur, dan Marcia Gresham Jeannine, seorang agen casting yang terlibat dalam beberapa film untuk BBC, termasuk The Inspector Lynley Mysteries dan Walk Away And I Stumble.

Daniel Radcliffe

Radcliffe merupakan seorang aktor yang terkenal lewat perannya sebagai Harry Potter dan meraih penghargaan sebagai aktor terbaik dari tahun 2003 hingga tahun 2006.

Radcliffe mengawali karir aktingnya pada usia 10 tahun di film televisi BBC  David Copperfield (1999), kemudian dilanjutkan dengan debut filmnya pada tahun 2001, The Tailor of Panama.

Selain membintangi film-film Harry Potter,  film  The Woman in Black (2012) akan menjadi proyek film pertama dari Daniel Radcliffe.

Radcliffe telah memberikan kontribusi untuk amal, termasuk Demelza Hospice Rumah Anak-Anak dan Proyek Trevor. Pada tahun 2011 ia dianugerahi "Hero Award" oleh Proyek Trevor.
